From August 25 to 28, our application engineering team conducted an intensive 3‑day on‑site training program at the production plant of a leading automotive parts manufacturer Thailand. The session focused exclusively on the 508 deburring machine—A metal deburring machine is industrial equipment designed to remove burrs (raised edges or residual material), sharp edges, slag, oxide layers, and surface imperfections from metal parts after processes like laser cutting, plasma cutting, punching, shearing, machining, or flame cutting.
Customer Feedback and Next Steps
The plant manager, Mr. Somchai, reported that after the first day of production post‑training, the scrap rate dropped from 4.7% to 0.6%, and machine idle time due to jam‑ups decreased by 78%. We have scheduled a remote performance review in 4 weeks, using the machine's built‑in IoT data logger to analyze vibration patterns and recommend media re‑loading intervals.
This training marks our third such mission in Southeast Asia this quarter, reinforcing our commitment to localised technical support and zero‑surprise commissioning for all 508 series installations.
