Heavy-Dross Removal Solutions - Built for Thick Plate
Metal Finishing - Heavy slag and dross is created during thermal cutting processes such as plasma cutting, flame cutting, and oxyfuel cutting. Slag refers to the residue or waste material that is being ejected from the kerf during cutting. The thicker the material, such as heavy plate or thick parts, the more energy is required to remove the slag.If this slag can be knocked off via a lateral force, we speak of deslagging. Removing slag is an important step in ensuring quality, safety and durability for your plasma and flame cut parts.
Steel hammer belt
The H station consists of a replaceable flexible hammer pin to remove heavy slag from plasma cut steel parts
Applicable Materials:
Steel
Stainless Steel
Aluminium
Copper
Titanium and other materias
The hammer belt is mounted like a conventional abrasive belt on drive and tension wheels and runs at high speed. As the plate edge contacts the belt surface, it delivers high-frequency impact and scraping to the edge. It better accommodates variations in plate thickness and irregular edge geometry, producing a more uniform finish.
