What is heavy slag?

Heavy slag, also called metal dross, are heavy burrs that appear during plasma, oxygen and other flame cutting processes. They usually accumulate on the edges of metal and holes. Large pieces of metal slag will cause uneven metal surfaces, so they must be removed.

In the past, heavy slag was removed by hammering or angle grinders. Based on customer feedback, we installed hammer pins on the Y station and H station. Its dense pins structure can easily remove thick and large slags.
